About the Lint Lasso
The Lint Lasso is an in-line lint trap designed for applications too small to accommodate a central lint collector, such as the OPL-200 or OPL-300 series. It extracts lint from the dryer exhaust airflow to keep the duct run clean and prevent environmental pollution. It is typically specified on long dryer duct runs, or on projects requiring a booster fan.
Every purchase includes the filter assembly, probe tip, hose and over-pressure alarm.
Benefits
- Prevents clogged exhaust duct, improving dryer drying time
- Prevents lint build-up on exhaust booster fans
- Reduces fire hazards
- Reduces duct cleaning and maintenance labor
- Designed for use without booster fans, and pairs well with them
Choosing a model
- The new “i” design has better dryer airflow and a higher CFM rating
- LLB (fiberglass FRP) is best for outdoor installation
- LLM (galvanized metal) has the fastest production lead time
- LLSB (stainless steel) is best for institutional projects
- LLM or LLSB should be selected to match the ductwork material used on the project
Part numbering follows the incoming duct size: LL(X)-(X) = incoming duct size. An 8″ duct takes an LLB-8. Outlet duct diameter is increased for use without a booster fan, and can be reduced on site if the unit is paired with one. Refer to the individual model submittal packet above for full dimensions.
Alarm and fan control options
- Standard pressure alert — battery operated, included with every unit
- SPM-B2 upgraded alarm — wall plug operated static gauge with pressure switch and stack light
- Single speed fan control — for individually ducted dryers
- “EQ” automatic multi-speed control — UL certified panel that modulates fan speed to balance airflow
Installation
The Lint Lasso installs horizontally or vertically, indoors or outdoors, and fits directly into the dryer exhaust duct line. It integrates with CCS dryer exhaust fan systems where a booster fan is required. Clean-out takes under two minutes: release the clamps, lift the access door and remove the internal lint screen — no duct disassembly.
